This month marks major 2025 Thrivecart upgrades with Thrivecart Pro+ and they are finally making good on their 12+ year old threat to get rid of lifetime pricing...sort of.
Here's the cliff notes breakdown and some resources to learn more.
Thrivecart Pro+ is the upgrade to the legacy 'Client' plan and the old Thrivecart Pro plan.
It comes with a host of improvements that take advantage of the latest Stripe capabilities in Stripe Connect.
The new features include:
- Multiple Order Bumps, increase AOV by an average of 19%
- Tax-Inclusive Pricing, boost your sales by an average of 22%
- Recurring Revenue Upgrades, proven to streamline subscription upgrades for users
- UTM Tracking, key to lead attribution and ROI/ROAS analysis
- Crypto Payments With USDC, up to 7% higher conversions
- QR Code Checkout, perfect for selling during virtual events, webinars and in-person
There are also significant updates to reporting:
- Bulk Invoice Downloads: automation to make tax reporting less taxing
- Product & Sales Reports: compare the performance by product, product groups, countries, timeframes and more
- Funnel Comparisons: view funnel value per click and by customer
- Subscription Metrics: calculate the average subscription value per trial and per subscriber
- Coupon Tracking: measure performance at a coupon-level
- New Segmentation Features: segment by location, funnel, and more
These improvements are designed to work with all versions of Thrivecart editors so you don't have to rebuild your old funnels.
Should You Upgrade to Thrivecart Pro+?
If you're wondering if this upgrade is worth it, or if now is a good time to jump on the Thrivecart train, here's a breakdown:
- Existing Thrivecart Pro users can upgrade to Pro+ for free until June 22nd, 2025
- Existing Thrivecart Standard users can upgrade to Thrivecart Pro+ for a 1-time fee of $195 until May 22, 2025
- If you don't currently own Thrivecart you can still purchase Thrivecart standard for one payment of $495 and upgrade to Thrivecart Pro+ for $295 / year
- If you use Paypal most or all of your transactions or don't have access to Stripe Connect in your country, don't bother upgrading.
3 Options for Stripe Integrations
With this new update, you now have 3 options for Stripe integrations to use with your Thrivecart account. The legacy integration has all the basic functions.
Stripe Enhanced, which had a bumpy roll out in 2023 offers options such as using Klarna and Afterpay to offer payment plans to your buyers without taking on the risk of failed payments.
Stripe Connect allows for all the new features mentioned above with more updates on the way.
Note: All future updates and improvements to Thrivecart will happen in Pro+ so it's something to keep in mind.
