You Are Responsible for What Happens in Your Business

If you follow me on Twitter, you've probably seen this quote:

  1. Try to do good
  2. F**k it up.
  3. Apologize.
  4. Try not to make the same mistake again.

Today's rant is brought to you by multiple encounters with trying to hire contractors who just didn't seem willing or able to step up to the job we were paying them to do. I don't expect people to be flawless – I make mistakes all the time. But I wish business owners would take more responsibility for what goes on in their business. After all, the buck stops with you.

Do you agree or am I being unreasonable? Let me know in the comments.
